What happens to project content
Text, images, tables, and data are processed by JavaScript in the browser. Projects are stored locally in IndexedDB. Interface settings, favorite templates, and consent choices use localStorage.
A remote image URL found in an imported JSON project is blocked instead of being downloaded automatically. The user must explicitly choose to embed it.
Saving and backups
Autosave runs after content, property, notes, table-data, and element-position changes. A successful status is shown only after the IndexedDB transaction completes.
The Data Safety Center downloads one backup containing the last project, named projects, version history, brand kits, and favorites. The backup is not sent to a server.
Offline mode
The Service Worker caches the interface and visited pages. Heavy PPTX, XLSX, ZIP, and QR modules load only when needed. A full offline pack can be downloaded deliberately.
What exports preserve
PPTX keeps text, shapes, tables, native charts, speaker notes, and slide proportions editable when supported. PDF and raster files are faithful renders but not editable. HTML is a standalone slide show.
Known limitations
- A missing font on another device may be substituted.
- Some CSS effects are simplified in PPTX.
- A browser can purge local storage under pressure, so backups matter.
- Ads and analytics are optional and are not required by the editor.
